Twice-a-year across five capital cities we hold workshops that deep-dive into subject matter relevant to the role of Village & Community Managers, Sales Managers, and Head Office Staff. Each year we recognise the incredible work of Village Professionals around the country at our annual VILLAGE SUMMIT event. This single day of learning and motivation features thought leaders and executives from across the sector, alongside unmatched networking opportunities with like-minded and collegiate professionals.

Ongoing Support of your people

Our Professional Development Program for village professionals has been designed by sector experts, for the sector. This means we are ideally placed to support your management team to navigate the ever changing and challenging conditions they operate in.

Our program is designed to meet the requirements of:

Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme;
Retirement Living Code of Conduct;
State-based Legislation; and
For NSW Operators: Rules of Conduct Complaint

Participants earn Professional Development Points

Every DCM Institute topic and masterclass completed, and event attended, earns Professional Development Points. These points sit on a transcript of achievement which can be used to demonstrate a real commitment to learning and professional development.

We encourage participants to set themselves a goal of 300 points per year, which equates to about 25 hours of learning and development.

Each year, we recognise those who have reach a milestone of 1,000 points at our VILLAGE SUMMIT event.
